An injury firm that belongs to this community.
Garden Grove is home to more than 170,000 people and one of the largest Vietnamese-American communities in the country. Many of our clients here were first referred by a family member, a neighbor, or a business owner along Garden Grove Blvd or Bolsa Ave. We opened this office so that the people of west Orange County could sit across a table from their attorney instead of driving to south county or Los Angeles.
Harrison Le is a former public defender who has tried more than 20 cases to a jury. Insurance companies track which lawyers actually go to trial, and that reputation changes the offers our clients receive. You work directly with Harrison, not a call center, and your case is handled by a team that speaks your language.
"Real help for real people" is not a slogan here. It is the reason there is a Le Firm office in Garden Grove.
What we know about injury cases in Garden Grove.
Local knowledge is evidence. Where the crash happened, which agency wrote the report, which hospital treated you, and which courthouse hears the case all shape how we build a claim.
01Where Garden Grove injuries happen
Garden Grove is crossed by the 22 Freeway and bordered by the 5, the 405, and Beach Blvd (State Route 39). Its surface streets carry heavy commuter and commercial traffic between Anaheim, Santa Ana, and the coast.
- Freeway corridors: the 22 between Harbor Blvd and Valley View St, and the 22/5 interchange near the Orange Crush.
- Major arterials: Harbor Blvd, Brookhurst St, Euclid St, Magnolia St, Beach Blvd, Garden Grove Blvd, Westminster Ave, Chapman Ave, Katella Ave, and Trask Ave.
- Pedestrian and bicycle collisions: concentrated at wide, signalized intersections and along commercial strips with frequent driveway traffic.
- Premises injuries: supermarkets, restaurants, shopping plazas, and apartment complexes, where wet floors, broken pavement, and poor lighting cause falls.
02Who writes the report
The agency that responds decides where your collision report lives. We request it for you, but knowing which agency to ask saves weeks.
- City streets: Garden Grove Police Department, 11301 Acacia Parkway, Garden Grove, CA 92840. Reports are requested through the Records Division.
- Freeways (22, 5, 405): the California Highway Patrol handles collisions on state routes, even inside city limits.
- Buses and public vehicles: a crash involving an OCTA bus or a city vehicle triggers a government claim with a six-month deadline under Government Code section 911.2, far shorter than the usual two years.
- Your own report: California requires an SR-1 form to the DMV within 10 days when a crash causes injury, death, or more than $1,000 in damage (Vehicle Code section 16000).
03Medical care nearby
Get examined the same day, even if you feel fine. Adrenaline hides injuries, and insurers treat a gap in treatment as proof you were not hurt. Emergency and trauma care close to our office includes:
- Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center, 12601 Garden Grove Blvd, a few blocks from our office.
- UCI Medical Center in Orange, the county's Level I trauma center.
- Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Orange Coast Memorial to the south.
If you do not have health insurance, tell us. There are ways to be treated now and pay from the settlement later, and we will walk you through them.
04Where your case is filed
Most Garden Grove personal injury lawsuits are filed in the Orange County Superior Court, Central Justice Center, 700 Civic Center Drive West in Santa Ana, about 15 minutes from our office. Limited civil matters and small claims for west county are heard at the West Justice Center in Westminster.
Because we prepare every case for that courtroom from the first day, insurance adjusters know a lowball offer will be tested in front of a jury.
05Deadlines that matter
- Two years from the injury to file most personal injury lawsuits in California (Code of Civil Procedure section 335.1).
- Six months to present a claim against a city, county, or public agency (Government Code section 911.2).
- Comparative fault: California lets you recover even if you were partly at fault; your award is reduced by your share (Civil Code section 1714).
- Minimum coverage: since January 1, 2025, California drivers must carry at least $30,000 per person and $60,000 per accident in liability coverage. Serious injuries often exceed that, which is why we examine every available policy, including your own underinsured motorist coverage.
5.0 stars on Google.
They worked on 3 cases for our family and they all closed with great results. Thank you for all the attention, work, and time you guys took.
Harrison Le and Silvia were most wonderful and most sweet people I have ever met. They will go above and beyond for their clients.
Harrison is an incredible attorney, but he is an even better human being. He was relentless in how he fought for my case and compassionate in how he cared for my needs.

How much does a Garden Grove personal injury lawyer cost?
Nothing up front. The Le Firm works on contingency, so the fee is a percentage of the recovery and is paid only if we win a settlement or verdict. The consultation is free, and if there is no recovery you owe no attorney fee.
Do you take cases outside Garden Grove?
Yes. From this office we regularly represent clients in Westminster, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Stanton, Fountain Valley, Orange, Cypress, and Huntington Beach, and our Lake Forest office covers south Orange County. We handle cases throughout Southern California.
Can I meet with someone who speaks Vietnamese or Spanish?
Yes. Our team includes Vietnamese and Spanish speakers, and you can request either language when you call. We also keep dedicated Vietnamese and Spanish pages on this site, and can bring an interpreter to depositions, medical appointments, and trial.
What if the driver who hit me in Garden Grove had no insurance?
Your own auto policy may cover you. Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage pays when the at-fault driver has no policy or too small a policy, and we pursue that claim for you. We also look for other responsible parties, such as an employer, a vehicle owner, or a public entity.
How long do I have to file after an accident in Garden Grove?
Two years from the date of injury for most claims in California. If a city, county, OCTA, or another public agency is involved, you must file a government claim within six months. Call early. Evidence like intersection video and vehicle data is often erased within weeks.
